June 14, 2012 will mark one full year since our big Dedication ceremony last spring, and we'd like to invite you to join us as we commemorate the event! We'll have music by Chris Monroe, a military color guard presentation, and a speech by Marine First Sargent Mike Honaker. The event starts at 11AM, and light refreshments will be served.

The Vinton Vision Committee is offering commemorative photos of the High Ground Monument to the general public for a limited time. You can purchase one of these beautiful photos (featured on the home page of our website) by visiting the Vinton War Memorial office or by calling Mary Beth Layman at 540-983-0613. The cost is only $5.00, and all proceeds will be used to support the monument's endowment fund.
